New Employee Orientation
Instructions:
We are excited to have you join our team of excellence! In order to begin employment with us, all new employees are required to complete the following tasks:
STEP 1: Complete your I-9 form. Download Here
STEP 2: Complete your W-4 form. Download Here
STEP 3: Complete a Direct Deposit Authorization form. Download Here
STEP 4: Submit your completed I-9, W-4 and Direct Deposit Authorization forms with an acceptable form of ID (instructions here) to kim@highperformanceearthworks.com.
STEP 5: Read the Employee Handbook. Download Here.
STEP 6: Sign the Employee Handbook, verifying that you have read, understand and agree to the terms in the Employee Handbook. This has been emailed to you via AdobeSign.
STEP 7: Complete the form below.
Offer of Employment:
You will be expected to:
1. Track your time daily with the BusyBusy mobile app and record detailed notes of work performed (in order to receive your hourly compensation); You will receive an invitation email to join from BusyBusy.
2. Treat every customer, their property and our company property and fellow staff members with the highest level of care and respect.
3. Complete your work safely.
4. Complete your work efficiently.
5. Ask questions when you need information to complete your work safely and efficiently.
6. Wear provided company shirts to the job when on a job site.
7. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times when on the job site (toe-protective boots, work pants, gloves, safety helmet, ear and eye protection when needed; please contact us if you need assistance obtaining any of these).
Field Staff Liability Waiver
Through agreeing to serve as a Field Staff employee with HPE and signing the Employee Handbook, you recognize that landscaping, excavation and septic installation work is a high risk vocation and that you will be provided with Worker's Compensation and disability insurance coverage. However, High Performance Earthworks disavows all liability for personal injuries or property damage beyond the scope of our insurance policy and through accepting employment and signing the Employee Handbook, you agree to release us of all liability for damages beyond those covered by the insurance policy.
Non-Solicitation, Non-Compete
Furthermore, by accepting employment with our Company and submitting the form below, you agree to not utilize company work sites for personal or professional photography or replicate our internal organizational or website content of any kind without the express written consent of High Performance Earthworks. You agree that you will not contact any High Performance Earthworks clients or vendors engaged in an active HPE contract with the intention to undermine, disrupt, damage or obstruct the professional relationship between contracted entities. You understand that in doing otherwise constitutes a breach of this policy with regard to the integrity of the relationship between contracted parties and any sharing of sensitive or confidential trade information that cannot be readily ascertained by the public. This agreement may be modified only through the express written consent of High Performance Earthworks.
